Toronto-born, Nordic-based artist Price, a passport and visa was his way out. A piece of paper meant he wouldn't become a statistic. It meant a future. Travelling the world and returning to the city he hails from, "Visa" is a dedication to those who weren't so lucky.

“I wrote this record with a lot of things in mind. Where I’m at right now in Toronto is a war zone in it’s own right and being born in a country that refugees are trying to find safety in drew a clear picture for me. Regardless of my passport, I share an understanding with these people," he says. "Though our stories are incomparable in severity, they do share a synergy. All I ever needed was a visa to get me out of the Grove - moving back to Toronto showed me how important that was.” - Price

With the release date of Price’s new EP Departure set for today the 7th of December, the first single “Visa,” produced by Runway, should give music tastemakers an idea of what to expect from the travelling artist's upcoming project, conceptually and sonically.
