Dj Kefran was born and raised in Paris between the 13th and the 19th district. Very young, he was surrounded by music. His uncle, a DJ amateur, introduced him to Funk, Soul and Reggae music. In 1982, watching the TV, he sees for the first time a DJ scratcher and some guys turning on their head: a shock !! Therefore, he tries the Smurf, the Breakdance, he listens his first rap records and discovers graffiti. Not being very good at dancing and painting, he's discouraged but quickly becomes a knowledgeable observer. In early 1993, he buys his first turntables, he trains diligently and became Dj. Shortly after, he founded with his childhood friends Ronsha and G-Zon, the group "La Meute".
At the same, he learns to master Beatmaking and started mixing in parties, alongside Dj Ronsha and DJ Huggy Les Bons Skeudis. The Dj’ing will take him to Switzerland and Germany for many events. After several mixtapes and a few vinyl EPs, in 2005, "La Meute" released his first LP "Danse avec les loups" which Dj Kefran provides much of the productions. The two video clips from the LP ("Fais péter le son" and "J'me suis fait une raison" feat Wendy Wonda) will be widely broadcasting on TV channels (M6, MTV France, MCM etc ...) By 2010, he creates with Dj Hamza and Dj Diemone, "Tha Loose Brotherz Dj's" a collective that organizes regular parties in Paris. His many musical influences are felt as much in his Dj set as in his compositions.
