Track: Mega Ran – Rushmore (Zilla Rocca Remix)
Zilla Rocca connects with fellow Philly-born MC Mega Ran to drop a remix of a heartfelt dedication to three of the pioneers of nerd rap.
The original track is produced by Lazerbeak of DOOMTREE, and appears on my new album “RNDM,” which debuted at #5 on the Billboard Heatseekers Charts and has been in the Top 5 on CMJ’s Hip Hop charts since it’s release in September.
Philly’s Zilla Rocca remixes the track and puts a great old school meets new school vibe on the track, with a familiar sample (think LL Cool J’s “Doin’ It”) and the danceable synth line 90’s meets 2010’s trap production.
