Hip Hop On Deck Exclusive Interview With Mystic Blu
1. Mystic Blu, this is your second year preforming at the Arizona Hip Hop Festival. How does doing this show make you feel emotionally and what do you have planned for your set?
Emotionally I'm excited. The festival seems to have grown and I am honored to be asked to perform again. Its a good look for AZ hip hop.
I'm excited to be representing the Hip Hop house Stage!
My set will include lots of new material. I only plan to do one song that most are familiar with. The song that has the Joker video.
The rest will be new material I am working on. Some snibbits of them.
2. Mystic Blu, what are the pro's and con's doing the Arizona Hip Hop Festival?
Pros for doing the festival is that its a good look for my music resume. To say that I performed at a event of this magnitude means a lot and will help push my career as an artist further. I honestly cannot think of any cons. Being apart of this is all pro for me.
3. Mystic Blu, what do you feel the festival will do for your brand and career?
Pros for doing the festival is that its a good look for my music resume. To say that I performed at a event of this magnitude means a lot and will help push my career as an artist further.

4. Mystic Blu, what are you currently working on right now?
I am currently working on a variety of things. A solo acoustic EP, a solo EP with ATM, a collab acoustic EP, a collab jazz hip hop EP with another emcee and producer in the scene. And some hip hop and soul songs that I plan to release as singles. I'm always creating so who knows what will happen next.
5. Mystic Blu, where do you see your brand and career in the next 5 years?
In 5 years I see myself over seas. Well established as an artist. An artist that people will want to pay to book and perform. I see myself being paid as a writer, and my music being purchased for film and tv.
I don't plan on working a day job anymore, and living the dream of being a full time artist.
