JACQUEES’ DEBUT SINGLE FOR CASH MONEY RECORDS “COME THRU” FEATURING RICH HOMIE QUAN MOST ADDED AT URBAN RADIO!
Jacquees’ (Jac–kwees) debut single for Cash Money Records, “Come Thru” featuring Rich Homie Quan, is most added song at Urban Radio this week. It has already begun quickly climbing in major markets and stands poised to become a breakout moment for the Atlanta R&B singer and songwriter.
Since signing to the label earlier this year, this is Jacquees’ introductory release, showcasing his fresh take on the genre. The track pairs smooth, slick production and instrumentation with a striking and sweet falsetto, while Rich Homie Quan delivers one of his sizzling and soulful signature flows. This is the time to “Come Thru” and hear Jacquees and the future of R&B.
In addition, he’s set to join The Scream Tour along with Diggy Simmons, Rich Homie Quan, K Camp & Justine Skye. The tour kicks off Friday September 11 at BB&T Center in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. The full routing is included below.
After amassing a substantial fan base through a series of mixtapes, Jacquees’ independent debut EP, 19, vaulted to #3 on iTunes Top R&B Albums Chart and #15 on Billboard’s Top R&B Albums Chart, in 2014. A diverse multi-talented artist, his skills extend behind the camera as well. He directs his own videos, and his work on “Me, U, & Hennessy” accrued 6.6 million-plus views and “How Bout Now (Remix)” exceeded 3.8 million-plus views. Jacquees has turned out songs with a myriad of top artists including T.I., Trinidad James, Travis Porter, and August Alsina.
Last year’s collaboration with Rich Homie Quan, “Soldier,” caught the attention of Birdman, who included it on the year’s standout mixtape Rich Gang’s Tha Tour – Part 1. He subsequently inked a deal with the label.
Get ready for more music from Jacquees very soon.
