About Caleborate
Caleborate is the solo musical project of Caleb Parker hailing from numerous areas of Northern California & breaking pavement in the Berkeley area. Caleborate’s music embodies the eclectic energy of the Bay Area--the smoothness of the classic “West Coast sound” along with the original roots of Hip-Hop. He began rapping at the age of 16, going from studio to studio doing whatever he could to continue honing his craft & building a collection of songs that would eventually become his first album, L.H.L.T. While in college, Caleborate stuck with his passions and released two more projects entitled "#theusual" and "Winter Break EP". These two collectives went on to become the latter of which helped him secure a position as 1 of 14 “Bay Area Hip-Hop Artists To Watch For In 2014” via Pigeons and Planes, along with many other local accolades, including a segment in SF weekly.
Caleborate has taken all of these success coupled with his life and turned them into a 12-track album entitled "Hella Good". This album features production from his long time collaborator, Willem Ardui, as well as the HBK Gang's Kuya Beats. Caleborate feels that "Honest music heals the soul" and has said that this is what keeps him rooted in doing what he believes in. As the journey continues, the ride just keeps getting better.
