The Internet is about to break with all the hype and fervor surrounding the release of the official video for the new joint by Nicki Minaj and Beyoncé, "Feelin' Myself." Nicki and Bey put on their favorite onesies and frolic with assorted animal floaties in pools. The ode to self-confidence, self-love, sex, and music was shot on location at the 2015 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and it seems that they had a much better time than you did. Jealous much?

According to New York Daily News, the video was the number-one trending topic on Twitter on Monday and is continuing to tear up social media despite still only being available to the new music streaming service, Tidal. The service, for those not in the know, is partially owned by Barbz and Beyhive along with hubby Jay Z.

Even Tshepo Mokoena from the Guardian was forced to give in her own reluctance and just have fun with the sun-drenched summer vibes and calling the video "this generation's Dancing in the Street." And she's right. The video is insanely enviable not because of how unattainable everything is but how reasonable it actually is. Spending your time with your best friends eating cheeseburgers on a moon-bounce, riding dope whips, and twerking to your heart's content. You could do all of these things yourself. But you know you'll never be able to have as much fun as they did. As reported by the Los Angeles Times, "It's all so familiar...and yet...so much...better..." And therein lies the rub. The video makes it mark on something completely within your grasp but at the same time is able to make it feel more exotic and out of reach than ever before.

Nicki is as fierce as ever and Bey is being her usual self with both spitting verse after verse of hot fire reveling in success, self-love, and self-medication. Nicki straight goes in on the track, name-dropping everything from Bey and Jay's 2014 "On the Run" tour and her love for her own Jack Rabbit vibrator and how it renders other men unnecessary. According to additional info from Adam and Eve, the device truly does render men necessary because it's waterproof, durable, and designed to stimulate three different erogenous zones. Basically, Nicki is not interested in what you have to offer, she's feeling herself and too busy palling around Coachella with Mrs. Carter to deal with your trifling self.

That's the kind of attitude that the video manages to capture without ever feeling mean-spirited or petty. Bey and Nicki are simply having too much fun and love themselves too much to be bothered with the advances of some random guy. The whole video just feels fun in a way many female pop partnerships fail to capture. For example, Iggy and Britney feels forced in all kinds of ways. It's an unfortunate cross-generation corporate coupling that reeks of publicity and bad marketing money, but Barbz and Queen Bey seem like people that would actually hang out and do all these things together and that's what makes all the difference.

Regardless, "Feeling Myself" is well on its way to become a song of the summer, so start making your playlists and shot for shot video recreations now. The internet is calling.
