Hit song "Watch Me" leads to a new dance craze
NEW YORK // -- A new internet phenomenon is emerging and he's called Silento. At only 17, TuneCore Artist Silento and his song "Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)" has skyrocketed from a single video posted on You Tube two months ago to nearly 21 million views and a total 35 million minutes watched. The single is a Hip-Hop/Rap hit, breaking into Billboard's March Hot 100 and still climbing at #69.
