In a time when artists focus solely on their craft and let business affairs fall by the wayside, rapper Pooca Leroy (aka P. Lee) knows the importance of being on top of both the music and the business and it’s evident by the recent deal distribution deal he inked with Music Access Inc. Pooca Leroy, who is co-CEO of Money Mobb Empire Alongside his brother, multi-talented entrepreneur "Money" Mike Sims, is no rookie to the music scene. He’s released several singles (including the Billboard charting “Pull Up” featuring Rich Homie Quan), has been featured in The Source magazine's Man of the Year edition, was named one of Dallas Weekly’s "People to Watch Making Black History Today, and debuted the video for his single “Rap Money” on both BET’s 106 & Park and MTV Jams. Pooca Leroy is very familiar with the ins and outs of making a great song. “My music is straight from the heart. It touches many lives,” says Pooca Leroy. “I’m not a gimmick rapper who’s trying to be like someone else. I want to use the words that I have to help as many people as possible. I want my music to saturate the entire world”

Pooca Leroy plans to begin saturating the market with his music by announcing his recent collaboration with Music Access Inc. that took place at the top of 2015. With office walls adorned with gold and platinum plaques from the likes of TI, Kelly Rowland, Nas and more, Music Access Inc. is a distribution company that has also done work with Lil Jon, Too Short, the Kidz Bop series and Kat Dahlia. With a wealth of experience and a successful track record since their inception in 1997, Music Access has huge plans for the Dallas native. “First we’re going to break continue to break him in this region,” says Robert Gonzalez, CEO of Music Access, “Then we will implement the spin effect. Basically the circle starts small in Texas, and then as we keep going in the circle, the circle gets bigger. We’ll focus on Texas and once we get this region we’ll move to the next region, then collectively move into the next region and so on. We’ll also use tools to find indicators to find trends & see what’s happening so that we make decisions based on that quickly and effectively.”

Robert Gonzalez agrees that Pooca Leroy & Money Mobb’s knowledge of the music business will continue to be an asset to Pooca’s career. “With them I feel that they really understand how the circle works,” He says, “There’s a lot of artists that may be gifted in one area like artistry, but they don’t understand the business. They make decisions that they feel are good decisions based on their knowledge of the business but because of their lack of business; they make decisions that really hurt their career. Pooca Leroy understands the circle. The people he’s dealing with understand the circle. When they make decisions on how to position a single, they’re doing it in a way where they can really position themselves in a market place and gain traction and exposure.”

Pooca Leroy’s vast knowledge and experience will continue to bring him very far. With a new mixtape “Mobb Sauce” coming March 31st and his album “The Vault” in the works, cameos by Future, Rich Homie Quan, Slim Thug, Gucci Mane and more prove there’s no limit to how far Pooca Leroy’s talents & connections will take him in 2015.
