DJ KBK Drops Year Of The Squad Mixtape
DJ KBK, is Arizona's #1 premier Hip Hop DJ. He started DJing at bars and concert venues becoming the number one hip hop DJ in all of Northern AZ. He was selected to participate in the Redbull threestyle contest and won out of 18 other DJs. This led to many dealings with the Redbull company and many sponsorship opportunities. He has been interviewed and featured in many Arizona newspapers and hip hop sites/magazines such as Wordplay magazine(link below) and more recently IAMU magazine. I also have my own DJ reality series on YouTube called: Keepin it KBK(link below) which is a self filmed "day in the life" look at the life of DJ KBK. That is now on its 2nd season.
DJ KBK, now perform every week around Arizona in major clubs/bars. He also have opened for many big names such as Macklemore on his most recent tour, and Twisted Insane(from Tech nines label strange music). On May 16th, he was signed to a national label, Playoff Records(link to press release below) as the official in house mixtape DJ, doing mixtapes for artists such as E-40, Mobb Deep, GOD, Infamous Mobb, and many others. He also has been endorsed and sponsored by Odabi clothing company(link below), Not Cal clothing, and Frope Clothing, and been nominated for an AZ hip hop award for Best DJ of the Year for 2013 and 2014. D KBK gained the interest of an internet radio station called Curb Radio and for about 6 months I had my own radio show, then went on to DJ for another big west coast internet radio station, 97.7fm blazin Hip Hop. He just finished up my own DJ tour called the "Red and Black Tour" DJing every weekend in different cities and different clubs around Arizona for about 2 months straight.
