PHILADELPHIA, PA (Sept. 24, 2014) -- Philly rapper Quilly (formerly known as Quilly Millz) drops a hilarious behind-the-scenes video with puppet comedian Peanut Live 215 in the studio recording a new song titled “Wavy,” produced by Maaly Raw. The street rapper shows his lighter side in this exclusive video filmed at On Dek recording studio, and says he and Peanut Live came up with the lyrics together. Peanut Live 215, who has received thousands of views on his comedy YouTube videos and nationwide recognition on WorldStarHipHop.com, has said Quilly is one of his favorite rappers besides Meek Mill.
Quilly’s newest single “Real One” is currently in rotation in radio stations across Philly and his recently released video for the record has garnered over 18,000 YouTube views and countless more on WorldStarHipHop.com. “This is one of my first songs that’s club and radio friendly. All my music is real street, trap music, so this new record is getting a lot of traction and has helped me book shows all summer,” says Quilly.
The Philly native created quite a buzz with the release of his self-titled “Quilly” mixtape in July, with features from Spade-O, Chic Raw, Vodka, Every Ave and City Rominecki, and plans to continue to release new music throughout the year.
