1. Who is Goody Gunz ?
Goody Gunz is an independent latin hip hop artist straight from North Philadelphia.
2. What inspired you to become involved with Hip Hop ?
I grew up in the Biggie, TuPac, and Wu Tang era. With music like what they were putting out you had no choice but to be inspired. But my biggest inspiration to become involved in Hip Hop was NAS.
3. Since there are so many great rap artist, what determines you to get to the top ?
My drive and consistency is what motivates me to take that top spot. Everyone wants to be the best but yet can’t put out the best in their music. I dedicate everything I have to my music and my sound, dedication, passion you can hear it in my music which leaves it self explanatory.
4. Today’s music is about collaborations, what artist out now, would you love to work with on a project ?
I wouldn’t want to work with any new artist, because in my opinion it all sounds the same. I want to create a new and refreshing sound to the currently distorted ear.
5. What is your ultimate goal that will determine your career ?
When i can wake up everyday and do what i love which is make great hip hop music. I want to create a strong established foundation for all my closest people, I want those close to me and that were part of my beginning as an artist with all the struggle involved to be doing well alongside myself. Only then can i can consider how great my career will become. Its deeper than just the music.
6. Do you have any shout outs ?
I want to shout out HipHopOnDeck for the interview and review of my 2nd Quarter mixtape. Shout to my team Buddha, Amir, SelkStar, Sarom, Ome, Dj2Short without a strong team you will never make it anywhere. Big shout to my foundation my gorgeous wife and kids, my mother, father, sisters, the whole pack family is key.
