She tells us that this is one of her favorite things about being a public personality; the ability to share experiences and talk directly to her fans.

The Hype Magazine got a chance to speak with Stasi about her new ventures, music and upcoming opportunities in television…here are some highlights of there conversation!

For those that don't know you, because everyone doesn't watch the Bad Girls Club show, who is Stasi Quinn and where are you from?

I'm from Sacramento, California…I'm a Cali girl! I've always been very driven, even as a child. I started walking early, started talking early. I feel like your trials and tribulations are what you make them; either you sulk and soak in your problems or you take a lesson from them, you learn and you move on.

I'm really loving the singles "Love Story" and "Priceless." When did the music bug hit you?

I first started writing music when I was like 6 [laugh], as soon as I could hold a pen, I started writing music. Music is definitely my first love and it's funny that you picked "Priceless" and "Love Story" because those are my heart; like those are some songs that I sat back and thought about and you know, bared a little bit of who I am on the inside, those are things that I feel.

It's a big step to trust an audience with that part of you, how did you build up the strength to put your thoughts and feelings into music?

Like I said, I have been doing it so long that I finally just made a decision to make that leap. But before I did, I made a promise to myself that the moment that I felt like people were taking away my light…like, my music is my life and it has been my way to survive, I've been able to write out my feelings and my thoughts and being able to push past the hurt and pain or whatever it is I'm going through. I haven't done music in a while because I promised myself that my music means more to me than trying to get a check. I have been offered things in the music industry and doing things with different record labels and it wasn't worth the check. It wasn't worth me losing my sanity and losing my light as I call it.
