Largest Streaming Week In History For An R&B Album By A Woman
First Billboard 200 No. 1 By A Female R&B Artist Since 2016
Fourth-Largest Album Debut Of 2021 By A Woman
Biggest Week For An R&B Album In 2021
Still Over It tops the Billboard 200 with 166,000 units, the biggest week for a R&B female act since Beyonce’s Lemonade in 2016, and makes Summer the first female R&B singer to debut at No. 1 on the chart since Solange’s A Seat at The Table in 2016. Further, Still Over It has
the most first-week units of any female R&B performer in 2021, the
fourth-largest among women of any genre (behind only albums from Taylor
Swift, Olivia Rodrigo and Billie Eilish) and the ninth-biggest start of
the year among all albums. The record-shattering streaming sum comes on
the heels of Summer’s record-setting week on Apple Music, where she
claimed the biggest one-day album streams for a female-identifying act
and for an R&B album.
See below for a recap of Summer's record-breaking first-week accomplishments:
-
Record 201.1 million streams for Still Over It – the highest one-week total by any female-identifying R&B artist and breaks Summer’s own record with Over It (154.7 million streams) in 2019

-
Second No. 1 on Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and Top R&B Albums, after her 2019 debut album, Over It

-
Album songs “No Love,” featuring SZA and “Bitter,” with narration by Cardi B remain in Apple Music’s USA Top 100 after both previously topped the chart
