Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter, record producer, and performer Terius Youngdell Nash—better known as The-Dream—is one of the most prolific artists of this generation. Born in Rockingham, North Carolina and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, he has spent a lifetime cultivating his musical gifts. The-Dream’s songwriting credits include chart-toppers like Rihanna’s “Umbrella,” Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies,” Britney Spears’s “Me Against the Music,” Justin Bieber’s “Baby,” and Mariah Carey’s “Obsessed.”
As a solo artist, he has released five critically acclaimed studio albums between 2007 and 2013, generating such hits as “Shawty Is a 10,” “I Luv Your Girl,” “Falsetto,” and “Walkin’ on the Moon.”
